It’s amazing when your first child is born. But then you wonder: how do you raise a healthy child?
In 1996 I began growing food. Seventeen years later, our precious daughter was born. Regrettably, I neglected our garden while struggling as a new papa.
But in 2017 I restarted my homegrown food journey by building all new raised beds and starting to grow veggies in earnest, alongside the fruit from our trees.
All of this healthy, fresh homegrown food is helping my daughter grow up healthy and strong. As I’m nurturing my garden, I’m in turn also nurturing my daughter, teaching her where her food comes from.
But why should only my family benefit? I soon realized that my purpose in life is to teach other families how to have the same healthy lifestyle I enjoy by growing food themselves.
Like me, you’re probably also at that stage in your life where you’ve survived the early years of parenthood with one or more children.
So are you ready now to embrace the many health benefits of growing food for your family?

Here are answers to some questions you may have about the membership
Even if you have the proverbial black thumb and don't think you can grow even a head of lettuce, the Garden Stepping Stones Path is your complete guide to your first full year of growing and a resource you will go back to again and again.
And you can get help from the community, group coaching calls and from one-on-one coaching sessions when you run into those beginner problems and challenges that can stop your progress.
You can spend the amount of time that fits best into your busy schedule. The Live Masterclasses and the Garden Gatherings are scheduled, but if you can't make it, you can always watch the recordings later. All other content is self-serve. Most lessons in the Garden Stepping Stones Path courses are about 15 minutes long.
My recommendation is that you spend an hour or so a week on the site to get the best value out of it.
Procrastination doesn't get you anywhere, especially when it comes to your family's needs. Sure, you could wait until you are ready, but when will you be? And you can join at any time of year, no need to wait until the spring. Winter is a great time to spend indoors learning skills to apply once the weather warms up in spring.
Plus for a limited time, join as a founding member and lock in the special limited-time price as long as you stay a member.
As long as you'd like. Your subscription will automatically renew (you'll get some email reminders).
The best value if you intend to stay a member for a year or more are the annual plans.
All learning materials are online in digital format and can be accessed through a web browser. If you are an annual member as of Nov 1st each year, you will also get the Veggie Starter Box mailed to you to give you a good start for the coming growing year.
And as the membership hits certain milestones, you may get something special in the mail.
To get access to the special perks only annual and VIP annual members get, you can easily upgrade your membership at any time to a higher tier through your Account page. Any remaining time on your current subscription will be deducted from the new subscription so you'll never pay double if you upgrade in the middle.
Note: the Veggie Starter Kit is only mailed out to Annual and VIP members that join or upgrade before November 1st as these kits need to be prepared ahead of time to be mailed out in late November.
Yes, the price will increase as more and more content is made available.
However by joining as a Founding Member you are locked in at the special limited time price as long as you maintain an active subscription.
You can cancel anytime by going to your Account settings in the membership site. If you decide to cancel, you’ll have access until the end of your current billing period. You can also pause your membership for a month or two if needed.
Keep in mind that if you cancel and decide to rejoin later, you will rejoin at whatever the current price is, which likely will be higher.
